Reading is quick, but app is slow

The core functionality of the app is good - you can indeed read quickly, if with reduced understanding.

However, the app itself is no joy to use. Marking an article as read takes too many taps and is slow (sometimes it fails altogether), it is very difficult to select a precise reading speed (the slider is too sensitive), and directly adding articles is a pain. While the reading engine is successfully implemented, the general design of the app is less satisfying. You end up losing some of the time gained from reading to an inefficient interface.
