A great app, but only support English.

This reading technique is something I was introduced to in school many years ago. I was wondering when someone was going to develop a program for it. We used something resembling steam-punk and a TV monitor back in the day. Most people will be pleasantly surprised at how fast they can read using this method and at how much they comprehend/retain. Its not a gimmick but a method. Now if the developers would just patch it to display my iBooks the same way I would be delighted.

Most peoples top reading speed is 240 words per minute. Why? Because we learned to read one word at a time, and the human eye takes a fixed amount of time to shift and focus on the next word. It can only do this 240 times per minute. By rapidly displaying words in the same place on the screen, you dont need to refocus your eyes between words, and your reading rate is only limited by how quickly you can comprehend what youre seeing. Youll be surprised how quickly you can double your speed. This app is elegantly designed, easy to use, and built around the core idea of distraction-free rapid reading. Sure, there are additional features I hope to see, like landscape orientation and paragraph indicators, but it works great as it is. Buy it today and read twice as much in the next month, or have half your reading time back for other things.

This is a great app to help me improve my comprehension in speed reading. Its be better if it can import from other news apps.

I started using ReadQuick on my iPad and got hooked. Unfortunately for my reading, I gave my iPad to family as a gift, and Ive been waiting for the iphone version ever since. Im very happy that this app is out and excited to get through a mountain of backlogged Instapaper articles. Thank you, Action Now!

A truly fantastic app. This app gets five stars if the creators make it easier to jump back. It says to swipe from left to right, but that only seems to work 33% of the time or less. I end up missing more by trying to swipe back fruitlessly, causing me to start the article again, or give up. A small jump back button on the bottom would be better instead of or in addition to the swipe. One should be able to jump back more than five words as well. Beginners need more words to right the derailed train. This issue will doubtlessly be fixed in the next update, because it is rather glaring. Other than that, it is an extraordinary app that does as advertised.

I think its ok BUT if I could see it or read it in BIGGER PRINT it may be a lot better , so on that note Ill forget for now but thanks any how or way ! Take time & think about it .

I really like this app overall. Instapaper and Pocket integration is pretty swell. I wish the app would push sharing and stuff down into the article view and make it easier to archive articles. Whenever I load the app I always get a "Read Quick" view which only has a single article in it (the introduction) and I cant figure out how to get rid of it. I always just navigate away to my Pocket articles anyways. The reading view is pretty great, but changing the reading speed is annoying because it increments very finely in 5wpm chunks, which makes getting the presice WPM i want hard sometimes. I like the integration with LongForm and other places, but hardly any information is given (no synopsis) so I never know what those articles are about, so why would I bother adding them to my read list? I havent gotten the "swipe back to rewind" function thats mentioned in the manual to work at all, and its kind of annoying because I have to reset an article if I ever miss anything. After they fix these problems the app is pretty much done.

A must have to get through reading with a speed boost !

-Built in browser does not let me go "back" a page in certain sites -Does not fully support Wikipedia. Just takes the first part of an article. For the price, I expected something with less bugs. I wouldnt complain if it was a dollar. The UI also stands out from the other apps because the others implement iOS7 UI and this does not.

The core functionality of the app is good - you can indeed read quickly, if with reduced understanding. However, the app itself is no joy to use. Marking an article as read takes too many taps and is slow (sometimes it fails altogether), it is very difficult to select a precise reading speed (the slider is too sensitive), and directly adding articles is a pain. While the reading engine is successfully implemented, the general design of the app is less satisfying. You end up losing some of the time gained from reading to an inefficient interface.

This is new and innovative way to read. Good way to think outside the box. New innovative ways are great and this goes outside our norm and trys new things. With this in mind it is also practical. Gods integration with other content providers.

I really like this app, the only thing I would like is if there was a "chunking" option. That way you could have multiple words on the screen at once. Also it would be nice if the max words per minute was higher.

I like the form of this speed reading app, but it is missing core functionality. It needs to support Kindle/ Ibooks/ no-drm ebooks I have on my PC because being limited to web articles is a bad limitation.

Using the app for few weeks now. Overall is good but losing two points because of: 1. Very irritating to change the speed 2. No option to show more than one word at the time when you want to go to the next level. The price is high for what it does but let that one go for now. Will update when these issues are addressed

To improve your reading speed and the comprehension, it has to be read as chucks of words, not individually which this app does for you.

Havent been able to complete the tutorial. Crashed/frozen 5 times in a row.....please fix
